Born: August 6, 1903 in Swindon, England. Died: September 9, 1999 in Aurora, Canada.
Married: Mildred Frape. No children. Family emigrated to Canada approximately 1917, settling in Toronto. Len was a professional artist. Aside from a short teaching career, he supported himself and his wife through sale of his art, mostly oil paintings. He traveled extensively in Eastern Canada and North-East USA, making sketches and oil studies. Most of his finished works were ordered by clients, based on selection from his studies. Some paintings were commissioned, often showing the client's home or farm. Len loved farm life. Many of his paintings showed rural scenes. Reference: Ask Art.
