Born in Montreal, Quebec, he is a self taught artist who has made his living as a commercial artist. He has become known for his landscape painting. He settled in Scarborough, Ontario, until 1961 when he took his wife and family to Europe to broaden his horizons as a painter. His semi abstract landscapes are well done and show good taste. His paintings have been exhibited at the 78th Spring Show (Montreal); 9th Annual Winter Exhibition (Hamilton); 86th Annual Ontario Society of Artists exhibition (Toronto) and elsewhere.
